Amazing show, has taught me a ton! I have to find a way to take care of my family plus my parents, so 4 adults and 3 children on a very limited budget. Extreme Couponing is my key to do that. So I am starting it as of this Sunday when I attack coupon circulars in my Sunday paper.
I have been couponing for years off and on but I did my

They always have a display of their meal deals with all the items put together. And naturally, they put their most expensive ball park franks in the display. However, when I walked to where the hot dogs normally are I found bun length Ball Park Franks for 2/$3. I printed out a coupon for $.75 off of 2 packages of the hot dogs from Ball Park's website. So for all the merchandise on the meal deal I spent $2.25!!
My purchases:
-2 Gallons of milk
-One Dozen Eggs
-3 whole fryer chickens (at $.87 a lb)
-2 Packages of bun length Ball Park Franks
-8 oz Borden Shredded cheese
-2L of Coke
-2 cans of Texas Style Chili
-20 oz Squirt bottle ketchup
-1.5lbs of Bananas
-2 Packages of Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies
Total before coupons: $37.28
After coupons I paid: $20.66
Total Savings: $16.62
I am insanely proud of myself. And this is just with one printed coupon and then in store coupons and savings.
I will do this consistently, and I WILL save us a ton of money dag nabit!
Wish me luck!
♥ Kristin
